You've mailed in your application to take the CMA (AAMA) Certification/Recertification Examination. What happens next?
Well, on your end, nothing for a while.
The AAMA Certification Department will respond within 30 days of the date you mailed your application. If you do not receive a response, please contact the Certification Department by phone or e-mail to check on your enrollment status.
If you're eligible for the CMA (AAMA) Exam…
You will receive a Scheduling Permit with instructions for making an appointment at a Prometric test center approximately three weeks prior to the testing period start date you provide on your application. The Candidate Application and Handbook, which you reviewed prior to applying for the exam, includes suggestions to help you study and prepare for the exam.
If you're not eligible…
You will receive a partial refund of your candidate fee payment, so carefully review the CMA (AAMA) Certification Exam Eligibility requirements, which include the grounds for denial of eligibility. Contact the AAMA Certification Department at 800/228-2262 if you have any questions about your eligibility.
