The American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment is a not-for-profit corporation that provides funding for medical assisting education:

• Maxine Williams Scholarship Fund. This fund was established to award scholarships to students in medical assisting education programs.
  
  
• Ivy Reade Relkin Surveyor Training Fund. This fund provides support for the training of medical assisting program surveyors.

The Medical Assisting Education Review Board. The MAERB, an autonomous unit within the Endowment, evaluates medical assisting programs according to Standards adopted by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
