Download Program Directors Forms The AAMAE Curriculum Review Board (CRB-AAMAE) is pleased to make available many of the documents and forms for you to download and use for submitting required information for their review and approval. This page lists and provides links for documents (see below) related to the accreditation process and program changes that must be submitted. Most of the forms are in an Excel format. Download them to your hard drive as needed, and open them in Microsoft Excel. It is also highly recommended that you make a back-up of the form on a disk, CD or thumb drive and save your work to both locations each time you work with the form. Fill out any forms completely and return them via e-mail to the address indicated with each form. The specific mailboxes have been made available to facilitate efficient processing. Note: Forms that are Excel spreadsheets contain macros. Each time you open one of them, Microsoft Excel will display a message asking if you wish to enable macros. Select the option to enable macros and proceed. Send any questions via e-mail to the specific mailbox noted on the form, or call the AAMA Accreditation Department at (800) 228-2262.
Also available to assist you in addressing the outcome assessments that are required in the 2003 Standards and Guidelines for Medical Assisting Educational Program are the following tools. Please note that you must collect all of the data found on the survey tools provided. You may opt to collect additional information. These documents are in Microsoft Word format, except for the Resource Matrix, which is in Microsoft Excel format.
The Threshold Grid lists thresholds for outcome assessment in medical assisting programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), as established by the CRB-AAMAE.
