If you are a medical assisting program director seeking accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) through The American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE), you can attend an upcoming accreditation workshop.

Medical assisting educators and program directors will learn the purpose and benefits of accreditation and the roles of the Curriculum Review Board of The AAMA Endowment (CRB-AAMAE) and CAAHEP in the accreditation process. Review the entire self-study process, with special emphasis on outcomes measurement documentation required.

The next workshop is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.
