Board of Trustees Highlights

Below is a summary of the decisions made by the AAMA Board of Trustees at the February 1-2, 2008 meeting.

• Approved appointments to the Continuing Education Board and LEAP Task Force.
  
  
• Approved a proposal that the only credentials to be printed on the Annual Conference attendee badges will be CMA (AAMA) (with AAMA specialty credentials, if any).
  
  
• Approved discontinuation of the humorous ribbons for conference attendees.
  
  
• Authorized the CEB and LEAP Task Force to provide electronic CEU programs at the Annual Conference on Sunday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. in the Practitioners and Educators Exchange Room.
  
  
• Approved an e-learning module for providing online continuing education for AAMA members and nonmember CMAs (AAMA).
  
  
• Allocated funds for the production of professional AAMA posters.
  
  
• Approved final content for the updated Role Delineation Study (renamed as Occupational Analysis of the CMA (AAMA).
  
  
• Allocated funds to reformat and edit the Career Moves videotape for DVD format.
