Board of Trustees Highlights
Below is a summary of the decisions made by the AAMA Board of Trustees at the June 2010 meeting.
- Approved General Fund budget for fiscal year 2011.
- Approved Certification Fund budget, pending review by the Certifying Board.
- Revised Representatives Bureau process so that Board members are not assigned to their own state meetings.
- Increased Annual Conference package registration fee by $20, beginning in 2011.
- Approved revisions to Volunteer Leadership Position Description document.
- Approved BOT orientation guidelines.
- Approved a prize drawing as a membership renewal incentive.
- Allocated funds for printing and distributing a new employer information packet.
- Referred a dissertation proposal on CMAs (AAMA) to the Certifying Board.
- Reviewed proposed Bylaws amendments and resolutions submitted to the 2010 House of Delegates.
- Approved a proposed Bylaws amendment on student dues to be submitted to the 2010 House of Delegates.
- Approved a dues proposal to be submitted to the 2010 House of Delegates.
- Approved a proposal to contract with a vendor to implement a social media plan.
State leaders were in attendance from Michigan and Ohio.
