Board of Trustees Highlights, September 2006

The House of Delegates elected the following officers and trustees:

Vice President Linda A. Brown, CMA–New Jersey

Speaker of the House Boni Bruntz, CMA-A–Colorado

Vice Speaker of the House Marsha Benedict, CMA-A, MSA, CPC–Florida

Trustees Christine Hollander, CMA, MA–Colorado
Betty Springer, CMA-C–Florida
Jim Wagner, CMA–Missouri
Nina Watson, CMA, CPC–North Carolina

Nominating Committee: Glenn Grady, CMA, MEd–North Carolina
Rhonda Hahn, CMA–Iowa
Nancy Larsen, CMA–Idaho
Diana Sheaffer, CMA–Ohio


As of and during the September 2006 Board of Trustees meetings, the Board had taken the following actions:
  • Announced Orlando, Florida, as the site for the 2010 Annual Convention.
  • Approved the attendance of President Walker at the annual meeting of MGMA.
  • Authorized the LEAP Task Force to repeat the Technology Workshop in 2007.
  • Approved a Conflict of Interest policy for the Board of Trustees.
Other Convention highlights:

On behalf of the AAMA and due to the generosity of our members, the AAMA donated $1,828 and many supplies-filled backpacks to Journey House in Milwaukee.

The Maxine Williams Scholarship Fund generated donations of $4,206 and the Surveyors Training Fund collected $2,144.
