Membership Enrollment Dues

2008 AAMA Membership Dues

AAMA membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Dues may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.

The 2008 dues year ends December 31, 2008. A new member who pays dues on or after May 1, 2008 will be a member until December 31, 2009. A new member who pays dues prior to May 1, 2008 will be a member until December 31, 2008. (A new member is an individual joining AAMA for the first time.) A renewing member who pays dues on or after September 1, 2008 will be a member until December 31, 2009. (A renewing member is anyone who has ever been a member of the AAMA.)

Student members must apply for membership prior to graduation. Student members may retain student membership for one additional dues year after their graduation date if active or associate status is not chosen.

These rates are valid until August 31, 2008. Individuals who wish to join after that date should contact the AAMA office for the 2009 dues amount.

The above amounts represent the total dues for national, state, and local chapter levels. With the permission of their state societies, some chapters may charge a higher amount of dues. Please contact the AAMA Membership Department if you have any questions.

Membership cancellations will be accepted within 2 months of the enrollment date. Refunds are subject to a $15 administrative fee.
