Apply to Recertify by CE

You must first thoroughly read and comply with the information and policies in the CMA (AAMA) Recertification by Continuing Education Application.

Recertify Online with AAMA CEUs  |  If all of your CEUs appear on your AAMA CEU Transcript, you may Apply Online.

Recertify by Online Application for Non-AAMA CEUs  |  Non-AAMA recertification points will not appear in the AAMA CEU Transcript. If any of your recertification points are from non-AAMA sources and you wish to apply online, upload your non-AAMA CEUs documentation and Apply Online.

Review of recertification applications can take five to 10 business days.

Note: Applicants for online recertification do not need to fill out the Recertification by Continuing Education Application.

Recertify by Expedited Online Application for Non-AAMA CEUs  |  To expedite processing with non-AAMA CEUs, submit your CEUs documentation online along with a $30 processing fee and Apply Online.

Your application and recertification status will be reviewed and updated online within five to seven business days.

(If problems need to be rectified, processing may take up to 30 days.)

Recertify by Phone with AAMA CEUs*  |  If all of your CEUs appear on your AAMA CEU Transcript, you do not need to fill out the application:

• Call the AAMA Continuing Education Department at 800/228-2262.
• Have your debit or credit card handy to pay the final recertification fee. 

Recertify by Mail-in Application for Non-AAMA CEUs*  |  Non-AAMA recertification points will not appear in the AAMA CEU Transcript. If any of your recertification points are from non-AAMA sources and you wish to apply by mail, follow these steps:

1. Completely review the Recertification by Continuing Education Application.
2. Fill out the application.
3. Attach the relevant documentation.
4. Include payment.
5. Mail in the materials.

Review of mailed-in applications can take up to 30 days.
